Quick Fixes – Vuze 4.3.0.4
Since Vuze 4.3 launched last week, we’ve been listening to your feedback and working to address any bumps you came across.
The result is Vuze 4.3.0.4, which fixes a number of items, including:
- Code that wasn’t playing nicely with Macs (causing crashes) @Gene @Angela @anonymous
- Some interface bugs that caused Vuze to appear blank for some of you, or disappear after a short period @Who @Rita
- Problems sorting the Name column in Library @David
- “Missing n” error message when searching @Zack
- A search result formatting issue appearing when IE6 is your default browser @MR
Finally, we’ve expanded support for magnet links in this release. For those that speak our language, we’ve added the ability to parse hex-encoded magnet URLs and the ability to use both mlDHT and azDHT for magnet-based downloads. Support is now live for both PCs and Macs in 4.3.0.4.
Regarding Friends and the Vuze HD Network, we’ll follow-up in the next few days with some more detail on our plans in these areas.

I just upgraded to Vuze 4.3.0.2 on my Mac and I have a problem. Search results disappear after 1 second or so, and it leaves the window blank. I just read that this problem was addressed in this issue, but seems like not quite.
Any solution for this?
Hey, I LOVE the new Vuze tekmologee! When will you have a bug-free version? I search, the results display for about 1ms and then disappear. I close the program and then when I try to open it again, nothing happens, although I do have 128MB process called Azureus.exe now running. Maybe you could hire someone who knows how to program the high-speed digital computers which are on the internets!
When I do manage to get it started again, I get a warning that directs me to this wiki article, http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Vuze_disappears, with lengthy instructions. But here’s the thing: I have my own software to debug for my paying clients. Is this the price for downloading ‘free’ software. Thanks but no thanks.

I just downloaded and installed a Vuze update to version 4.3.0.4 and when it started up all my files I was downloading before had error message “file not found” in red. How do I get back the files? Or have I wasted all my download?
Getting started disappeared and now I am getting a connection time out message… Not able to research anything anymore!!! Help!!!

Comme on!… The privious version was very much bether.
There is not any sample,interfaces are uglys and there is
no way check the sise files.You have made a robich with something wich was wonderfull befor.I just do not understand such a mistake.I quit using VUZE.
Vuze asks me any time I’m opening the program, to upgrade. But I can’t… When I try to install the new version (from the Vuze window), it begins but after a little while, nothing more is happen. I gave Vuze the hole night for updating, but nothing is happen
i have ubuntu operating system its based on mac or linux and i have installed vuze 4.2.0.8 yet but i can’t update to the new version.
The link just don’t works for me. Can someone help me with this ?

The “Terms of use” link in the installer app leads to a 404. How am I supposed to agree to terms that I haven’t read? The non-standard installer is suspicious as well.
Hi guys thanks for the effort over the years, but I like others have a big problem with the new d/l speeds. I am now 50% slower than the swarm which means days to d/l files. Is there a fix to fix the fix on the way. the older format was ok with me as it was as I didnt use any of the other features.
Hello!The installation seems to start but after a while nothing happens
Since the updates and new version came out I can only see half of the page displayed in the search. It says showing 10/50 but I can only see 5 of the torrents showing and it does’nt scroll down anymore to show the rest. TRASH IT AND GO BACK TO THE OLDER VERSION / AND MAKE ALL UPDATES OPTIONAL !!!
Just downloaded and ‘installed’ (i.e., simply ran in-place) the “Vuze 4.3″ for Linux. About Vuze reports “4.3.0.0″ and the update function reports, “Latest version=4.2.0.8; no update required.”
Where is 4.3.0.4 ? Did somebody forget to update the profile or something for Linux versions?
I’ve got the same problem as Chris above. After I download the install file I hit the “run” button, the install wizard begins to load but the bar reaches about 90% and stops. I uninstalled Vuze 4.2 thinking it might help. No help, same poblem.
too many bugs in new version, to me the good doesnt outway the bad. I am trying to download the ladder version.
I am having too many problems with new version, now I’m tryin to find versio b4 the big change.
Searches turning up next to nothing – fix it
Alot of complainers on here. Latest version installed and worked perfect on Mac OS X/Mac Book Pro.
Install: Installed just fine.
Search: Works perfect and fast.
Download speed: same as previous versions. Well seeded titles d/l at my max connection.
Comments: Starts faster. Love the conversion options (lets you choose between Sony PS3 HD and SD)
