New Version of Vuze Released
We’re always plugging away to ensure Vuze is the best torrent client on the internet, and it’s time to continue down that path by releasing a new version. There have been numerous improvements made, but here’s a quick breakdown of some of the bigger enhancements:
- Rewrite of Library view that has improved performance, stability, and extensibility
- Better support for Magnet downloads; now pulling metadata from peers in the swarm, rather than just the DHT.
- Improved download/upload prioritization
- Automatic back-up support for your Vuze configuration
- Multiple performance enhancements, UI tweaks, and bug fixes
On top of this, we already have other new features in the works based on your requests. We also will soon be making it much easier for you to let us know what you want developed next – so please keep an eye out! And, as always, please reach out to us on our forum to let us know what you think or if you run into any issues:
