More Devices: Vuze on Tivo and PSP

In March, Vuze set course to unlock your content and give it the wings to get from your Mac and PC to the other screens in your life: mobile and TV.  At the time, support was added for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and iTunes (iPod, iPhone, Apple TV).  Since launch, millions of you have turned on Vuze device support, transferring an average of more than 18+ videos per user to watch on the screen of your choice.  Today, we’re building on this foundation by adding support for Tivo and PSP.

Our goal is simple:  Empower you to watch your content on any screen you want.

Some other companies have taken a different approach by confining their content to a single screen. We believe this is short-sighted. Companies win by listening to you and delivering the products and services you want.

Technology is increasingly making it possible to view HD entertainment on all the screens in your life: PC /Mac, mobile, and TV. In our research, you’ve expressed a strong desire to watch your entertainment anytime, anywhere, on any screen. Vuze is working to deliver on this vision.

But enough with the vision thing.  The real magic lies in the simplicity of Vuze device support.  Devices simply appear in the Vuze sidebar when they’re available.  All you have to do is drag-and-drop to the device of your choice, and prepare to watch your content anywhere you want.

Our goal is to build support for the devices you already own and love. We’re prioritizing based on a few key criteria:

• Your votes
• Quality of video support
• Total installed base.

At this point, we’ve added support for many of the major devices owned by the 10M+ monthly active users in the Vuze community.

That said, we’re just getting started.  So give it a try by downloading the latest version of Vuze.

   hi please help i have downloaded a movie converted it and put it on my sidebar on psp to transver it , but i cant seem to get it on my psp , am pretty new to this ,can anyone help please

    how come i can not connect with all the seeds, because sometimes I am downloading something that has 2000 seeds but i only connect with 4 or 5 maximum. therefore i don’t get to make use of the high speed download available to me.

    A wonderful tool and rich in services and options. Seeding and connectivity remains a mystey but overall a wonderful tool. Device convert addition is feet too!

    Vuze device is great. But this recent update caused the audio quality to degrade in my PS3 HD MP4’s (transcoded from .MKV’s). Is there any way to fix this or is there an update fix coming? thanks

    The only problem, is that Vuze butchers the audio of files it transcodes. I’ve used a secondary program and converted them and then uploaded them to the tivo and the video comes out great. So, my one suggestion is that you work on the transcoding. Other than that, you guys have a great idea.

    is there a plugin to have vuze access the access files saved on a directtv dvr? i would like to save my files on a computer and free up space on the dvr. With a plugin, vuze would be a great way to manage the files.

    i’ve been recently running into these movie downloads that say USE WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER on the screen i have windows media player it says error file format can’t be played even VLC wouldn’t even play it(gasp) the computer i’m on is a imac if that makes a difference what am i doing wrong can you please help
